From manual roots to a digital beginning.
TemanJaga was shaped by years of hands-on caregiving. Now, we're building a digital care platform designed to support families, empower caregivers, and redefine how care is delivered, sustainably and with dignity.
The early care years
TemanJaga was founded under the name KT Homecare Services by Muhammad Akasyah to help families access caregiving servies at home and in hospitals. Operations were fully manual caregiver matching, scheduling, and coordination handled through calls and messahes. With a small pool or caregivers, TemanJaga supported around 20 caregivers a year, serving approximately 50 clients annually, built purely on trust and hand-on care.
Surviving through uncertainty
By 2019, TemanJaga was still surviving not growing agressively but staying operational. When COVID-19 hit, the limitations of manual caregiving operation became clear. Matching caregivers, managing schedules, and sustaining revenue through manual processes became increasingly difficult. This period sparked a critical realization; care needed structure. Rebuilding for the future
In 2025, after years of stain, TemanJaga had to close its physical offic due to financial exhaustion. Shortly after, the project received renewal momentum through support from Yayasan Hasanah and Ministry of Financial Malaysia togehter with additional funding from former CEO of Theta Mobile, En. Abdur Rahman Ebrahim. With this support, Ts. Hanif joined as a project & business partner, helping drive the digital transformation. TemanJaga is now rebuilding as a digital caregiving startup, grounded in real caregiving experience, with a planned platform launch in 2026, focused on sustainability, fair opportunities for caregivers and accessible care for families.

Every decision we make from how caregivers are supported to how care is delivered is designed to solve real problems that families and caregivers face every day. We're not reinventing care for the sake of it. We're improving it so people can depend on it, consistently and with confidence.
